As the price suggests, this is a fully fledged database app working in tandem with Filemaker on the Mac.

iPhone/Touch app - gives access to Posterous account for uploads & updates.

Stripped down word processor which lets you focus on the writing - adds some nice extras to keyboard.

If you can’t get on with the iPad’s Calendar app then this is one of the best alternatives.

One of the best free decibel metres on the store with great graphics & a lot of detailed sound information.

iCab Mobile (£1.49)

Although there are a number of alternative browsers available, this one can download YouTube videos.
