Like Notability above, this is a fully featured not taking app with DropBox support.


For me this is one of the best and most versatile note taking apps out there with plenty of export options.

Note-taking via handwriting, typed text and audio recordings makes this a very versatile app.


Innovative note taking / research app which uses a split screen approach to information/data gathering.


abcNotes (£1.99)

Great little stickies/notes app which has up to 15 virtual desktops.


Draw Pad Pro (£1.49)

Brilliant drawing/notes app with many options and beautifully designed backgrounds & templates.


neu.Notes (£2.99)

Comprehensive note making app with many features - some shared across the other neu. apps.


iDo Notepad (free/£1.99)

Very sophisticated note making app with plenty of options and functionality - Dropbox supported.


ReplayNote (£2.99)

Great app which records voice, text and drawing and converts to a video which can be widely shared.


Evernote (free)

Useful text & audio note-taking app which allows sharing of notes between devices - via an account.

Tinker Paint (free)

Astoundingly good note/drawing app which is particularly tactile and engaging for visual learners.


AudioMemos (£0.69)

Simple note making app which uses audio to create memos - files can be sent by email & Dropbox.


Sticky Notes (free)

Similar to Stickies on a Mac - simple, easy to use note-making app which allows a for visual layout.

A very neat ‘to-do’ app which allows you to make checklists and prioritise tasks.

 

MyScript Memo (free/£1.99)

Converts handwriting to text which can be exported - supports a number of languages.


SoundNote (£2.99)

Very easy to use note taking & audio recorder app which links text to specific points in the audio.


NoteLedge (free/£1.49)

I think this is one of the very best note taking apps with handwriting, text, audio and video input options.
